With newfound worth, I run out of my pad To go and have a visit with my Uncle Chad Kick in the door, he sees the map in my hands Grabs me by the collar, starts yelling commands “Well grab a seat, girl! Let me tell you a tale, ‘bout the Majestic Sailors, your dad and strong gales” Cast your mind back to a golden age Where Harry Gills lived as a golden sage The shadow he cast was a blissful sight He lit the way when day turned to night His wisdom vast and his tongue was sharp Unmatched were his dealings of heart He stood up for what he felt was true Your dad was amazing, so unlike you I take it you’re gonna try and find the ship? I guarantee it won’t be an easy trip Lucky for you, I have a ship and a crew Let me call them up and we’ll accompany you “Wow… Really?” With my crew in tow We’re all ready to go Guided by the gales And my father’s tales

Double Eagle 05:23
As we set sail, the wind in our hair Sun is bright and the weather fair With a heave of the crew, the sand scrapes the bow The coast is getting farther and farther now Sunlit waters stretch out for miles Passing nearby ports and isles Open sea surrounds the ship Mists spray as my heart starts to skip Anchors away Bid farewell to the bay All on a luminous day Sailing along in the view of a seagull Prowling the seas aboard the Double Eagle Upbeat waves as we exchange smiles Shouting freedom, free of isles The crow’s nest provides the best view The sun reflects off transient blue The roar of the ocean beneath our feet My father’s lost in the briny deep What’s down there is unforeseen We’ll find him and The Salty Sardine Sailing along We’re sailing along EEEEEEEEAGLE!
4.
The ball flew at a frantic pace The man beside me just lost his face Dark sails are drawing near Brutally boarded by buccaneers With fire came smoke that choked my breath My lungs filled with the taste of death With blades at our throats and guns to our heads Praying to not join the freshly dead “I’m sure you know why we’re here Save your cries and spare the tears Hand us yer booty then we’ll go I lied, we’ll kill ya YO HO YO HO” You cannot prevent me from traveling the high seas You will never take any other lives. This, I’ll see I am not afraid of your flashy blades or your talk With a rally cry, my crew sets the plank, now you’ll walk “Oi, you’ve done it! You pissed me off You’ll regret you acted so tough I was gonna kill you fast Your pain is sweet so I’ll make it last” BOOM Walk off the plank and you might live I have no more patience to give Free of their terror, let’s move on Where’d Sandy go? The pirates are gone
5.
We endured the pirate’s attack Lost half the crew, have to make up for the slack The raid left our stockpile running short Gotta restock, there’s a wet dock nestled in a tropic island port We were greeted by a luscious lively man Gold bling, dreadlocks, and a really nice tan “We’ll help you out. Soon you’ll be on your way First I decree set yourself free, get naked and get FUNK-AY!” The music blasted loud No trace of clothes around I stood there in confusion My crew gave in to the sound I lost control. I couldn’t stop dancing I lost my clothes. The groove made my hips swing Party in the port of Perl Hacker DISCO! Party in the port of Perl Hacker The music changed to this and they all had baggy pants Dreadlocks turned to fros. Pulsing rhythm makes me dance Gold medallions glow. All our inhibitions lost Disco ball above. Bright ass laser sabers cross Wearing baggy pants Rhythm makes me dance Inhibitions lost Laser sabers cross Party in the port of Perl Hacker TECHNO! Electronic The music switched again Neon lights and glow sticks Reflect off tin men Wearing funny glasses It’s getting really hot All the movement slows Dancing like a robot Strobe lights pulse Beat continues to bump Sweat is in my hair People start to hump Same annoying beat Fucking stuck in my head Kill… me… Party in the port of Perl Hacker

Cyan Shades 04:43
The storm has passed Rest of my men are gone Only me under cover Lost at sea, heading under Taken by the current The ocean guides me forth Sunlight raining down Discovery in sound Rock museums stand Vital fragments of land Gales make wind chimes sing Revelation through a ring The design has brought me to the goal Travelled for weeks now I’ve found the soul Prep the suits for the deep dive Into blue. My past survives I washed ashore Sighing with relief Hefting the load of my suit Big helmets and heavy boots Into the ocean Searching for the Dine Cyan shades encompass Down into the abyss Looking through a bowl Leaping off of the shoal Sink into marine Somewhere lies the Salty Sardine

Heavy thoughts run through my mind Getting dark now. I’m running blind Clam whips ajar. Light from a lit TV Amazed walrus gazing at me “You… are… his… girl…” A girl, I am, indeed I wanna find I wanna find I wanna find I wanna find the dine “CALM DOWN! This is the place. Water and deep space” Yo homie walrus, I’m here for the ship. Unless you have some answers, I’ll be on my round trip “ALL-RIGHT! My will undone. Claim the treasure that weighs two tons” Yo, I don’t know what you are talking about. But you seem to know me and my cause HOLY SHIT, A MOTHERFUCKING TROUT! “SHUT UP! Girl, believe it or not, I knew your dad very well. But let me first tell you about myself I’m Wallace the Walrus (Wallace the walrus) Looks like I’ve got some explaining to do I met your dad way back in ninetee-O-two Way back in those olden days of old Harry Gills traded supplies and gold His cargo, precious The high stakes, endless I was the leader of a force Commandos, we guard and protect you! I trained for years to be who I am My skills are matched by no guy or man Don’t mess with me. Your hide, I will tan I’ll slap your face. I don’t give a damn YEAAAHHHHHH! I’m Wallace the Walrus The sun was bright that fateful day But the sunshine quickly faded away Ominous clouds covered the sky The sea opened up, ship pulled into the brine Down The abyss Took it all The captain Took the fall It’s all gone Nothing more I stand guard Waiting I don’t really know how long I’ve been here Maybe a hundred years Got me a TV No one here but me My will has always Been strong enough to Finish the gig A gig is a gig You have travelled far and Wide to claim the treasure Two tons It weighs Now I've told All I know I am Wallace The fucking Walrus YEAHHHHHHHHHH! Wallace the Walrus”

Clad in brass, vision focused Eyes dart left and right Lantern flickers like a star And turns dark into light Wading through the depths To find the remnants of my past Dark blue fog surrounding me I don’t know how long I will last Air in good supply Peering out both sides Catching creatures out the corners of my bloodshot eyes Search becomes a strain Lost in my domain Scanning through the deep to score the gravy train Through the dim haze, a figure slowly fades into my vision What in the world could it be? Ever closer, ever looming. Framework soon becomes apparent I know now exactly what I see Algae covered hull Chipping it away I’m revitalized! Renewed caliber It’s finally revealed Long worn hidden finish says it all! There is only one thing that I don’t understand And all I can do is wonder How did my father know that his ship was to sink… here? SALTY! One step closer to reliving my lost past SARDINE! One step closer to realize legends amassed SALTY! My long quest has finally come to a close SARDINE! At long last, the past shall be completely known Inspecting my lineage Looking for a way in Diving further Infiltrate through a big hole Wonder how it got there? I have no clue Burning lights fill up the room Fragments of a lost age It’s a damn mess Drifting through a missing scene Looking for importance Left by my dad Scanning through the empty rooms Nothing really of note Must keep looking I happen upon a chest Gilded thick in fine gold Mystic symbols (This is it An end to all the confusion As the latches click open, a blinding aura illuminates the bridge The memories come flooding back in bulk The dim sky is masked by his solemn smile A pat on the head, a hug, and his parting words “Don’t worry. I’ll be back one day Take care of yourself until then and cherish all I have given you. You’ll be fine” A question of priority within that moment, but still a heart felt goodbye passes my lips The tears moisten my sleeves as I wipe away the despair He told me he’d return But he lost his way for this beautiful instrument I only wish he was still alive Not only out of longing and absent love Not only to make up missing days on the sundrenched seas Not only to end this eternal loneliness But to simply interrogate I wish to ask him Was this worth dying for? What did he care for more? Me or this treasure?) I marvel at the object inside Setting forth a golden glow from within I feel a surge go straight through me Heart pounds through Eyes treasure what they see And I feel a presence A ghost Please turn around

Transcend 16:21
At last, I've found you! At last, I've tracked you down I've not forgot about our fight All of these years, my rage flared The one thing I worked for You stole And you will pay this day You will bleed You will die All for taking her Away It was you Hello, my old friend How have you been? You’re looking quite well Your many tentacles are still gross Rage still holds you so close Please calm down Please come ‘round You will see My misery She sees us all now This changes nothing I know why you’re here Greed, lust, and anger Your aim is clear We must settle this fight This affair ends tonight And I will not back down Wait You’re not alone You mustn’t fight this fight by yourself Combined, we can suppress this vengeful soul All for her She’ll be dignified Use the two tons Rock on, sweet one Wallace is here Ready to kick ass and chew gum But I’m all out of gum! I’ve been waiting for years to complete this long gig I’m Wallace, the Walrus YEAAHH! How dare you resist? Soon you won't exist Your strength is nothing compared to mine With one tentacle I'll break your spine, misaligned Enough of this talk! BOOM! The sea floor will be your tomb Taken by the blue No one will ever know At home in the undertow You will not be missed Succumb to death's kiss I can see a light Please, don’t mourn for me Go on living Peace of mind even in the face of danger Overjoyed, in the end you weren’t a stranger For years, I’ve wandered all alone Lacking purpose, with nothing to call my own Now I know what I must do Now that I am done with you This is the end I must ascend Chronicle these events I must transcend

about

At long last, it's finally here. Roughly 8 years in the making,
The Majestic Sailors' debut album The Salty Sardine is a concept
album that came about from a silly senior prom photo taken in 2010.
After many years on and off from the project, it's finally a finished product and I'm super happy with the result. It's been a HUGE learning experience and I'm already thinking of ways to improve my workflow on my next project. I hope you enjoy this album and look forward to more music from me in the future!

This album is dedicated to my grandpa, Adolph Loch, Lawrence Bittner, and my grandma, Alyne Batory.

Special thanks to: Melissa Mills, my lovely parents and grandma Joan, Anna Armstrong, William Waldron, Aria Fawn, Fabio Evola and the entire Tivoli's crew, Keith and Kevin Ottenbacher, my Sweetwater rep Spencer Kennedy, Keira and Issa, Chinstrap Chaps, tB Audio, and Mountain Dew aka ambrosia.
